Wuchang: Fallen Feathers

Your protagonist, Bai Wuchang, fights a supernatural affliction known as the Feathering. This mechanic functions as a high-risk, high-reward power booster. High levels of madness increase your attack damage and buff your Alacrity spell mechanics. This power comes at a steep price. Your elemental resistances drop significantly during this state. Dying while consumed by madness spawns an Inner Demon. This entity acts as an unforgiving mirror of your own peak strength, forcing you to defeat your reflection to reclaim lost progress.

Combat relies heavily on aggression, positioning, and resource management. Successful dodges generate Skyborn Might, a vital resource displayed as feathers near your madness indicator. Spend Skyborn Might to unleash heavy attacks, cast powerful folklore-inspired spells, or trigger specialized weapon techniques.

Players can equip two weapons simultaneously from a pool of five distinct styles:

Character progression revolves around Red Mercury, the primary currency harvested from fallen foes. Spend Red Mercury at Shrines to unlock massive skill trees tailored to your preferred weapon class. Players can freely respec their nodes to adjust weapon scaling. Augment your arsenal further by socketing Benediction stones directly into weapon slots to activate passive stat enhancements and damage mitigation perks.
